Kurt earned the national Charter Certified Landscape Professional (CCLP) designation in 1992 with the highest exam score. A registered Landscape Architect in Ohio, Kurt also holds a pesticide license. In 1992, Kurt was nominated to a leadership role with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) and has served as the chairman of the Education Committee, Chairman of the Certification Board of Governors, Chairman of the Exterior Landscape Division Board and Secretary-Treasurer and currently co-chairs the Crystal Ball Committee. As president of ALCA in 2004, Kurt was instrumental in the merger of ALCA and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) leading to the founding of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). Kurt continues to serve on the Board of PLANET.
Prior to joining Allin Companies, Bob was general manager of Gibbs Landscape Company, a nationally acclaimed firm based in Atlanta, GA. Bob is an elected member of Pi Alpha Xi and Gamma Sigma Delta in recognition of outstanding achievement in horticulture and agriculture. Bob also was a consultant on street trees for the city of Atlanta for eight years. He has a degree in horticulture from The Ohio State University and is an advisor for the Agricultural Technical Institute at The Ohio State University. |
